If you enjoy having a a beer every so often, keep your money at home if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Empty your purse, your wallet, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Take whatever cash you expect to spend on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you expect to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You may well have a profit after a intoxicated night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hook a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps table. Hang on to that adventure seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you always drink and bet. The two just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moola out of the casino is a little excessive, but preventative measures for excessive behavior is required. If you wager to profit, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to toss aside your money without a concern, then consume all the no charge alcohol you can handle, but do not take plastic credit and checkbooks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your bombed self squanders every little thing!
