Gaming supervisors look over gaming operations and staff in an assigned area. Circulating among the tables, they see that all stations and games are attended to for each shift. It also is typical for supervisors to interpret the casino’s operating standards for players. Supervisors could also plan and arrange activities for guests staying in their casino hotels.

Gaming supervisors must have obvious leadership qualities and great communication skills. They need these abilities both to manage workers excellently and to greet guests in order to encourage return visits. The Majority of casino supervisory staff have an associate or bachelor’s degree. No matter their their educational background, however, most supervisors gain experience in other gaming jobs before moving into supervisory desks because knowledge of games and casino operations is important for these employees.
