If you like to have a beverage from time to time, leave your cash out of the casino if you plan to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your handbag, your wallet, and leave all cash, credit cards and cheques back at the hotel. Pack only the money you expect to spend on refreshments, tips and few dollars you anticipate to squander and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not at all. Just realistic. You could have a success following a drunken evening out with your buddies and be blessed enough to hit a long roll at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that adventure because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and bet. The pair just don’t go well together.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel might be a little drastic, but defensive actions for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you bet to win, then do not drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your cash without a worry, then drink all the complimentary alcohol you can handle, but don’t pack charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of chasing losses after your inebriated self loses all the cash!
Allow me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink and then go on the net to gamble in your preferred casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condominium, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can not consume alcohol and wager.
Why? Although I do not drink to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely adequate to cloud my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not bet at the same time. Both make for an awful, and expensive, drink.
