If you like to have a beer every once in a while, leave your money at home if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your money belt, and leave all money, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever money you anticipate to use on refreshments, tips and few dollars you expect to lose and leave the rest behind.
Cynical? Not at all. Just realistic. You might have a profit after a inebriated evening out with your acquaintances and be lucky enough to hook a marathon toss at a smokin craps game. Don’t forget that account considering that it’s as short-lived as it gets if you always consume alcohol and gamble. These activities simply don’t mix.
Keeping your money back at the hotel is a tiny bit dramatic, but defensive actions for excessive actions is required. If you play to win, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your $$$$ without a concern, then consume all the free beer your stomach can handle, but do not carry charge cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing losses after your befuddled self squanders all the cash!
Let me to carry this a single step more. do not drink and then head on the net to bet in your best-liked internet casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my abode, but since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and wager.
Why? Even though I do not drink to excess, once I consume alcohol, it is certainly enough to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager at the same time. The two mix up for a decimating, and costly, drink.
